Discover the magic of vermicomposting for your kitchen garden and beyond.
This interactive workshop will teach you the incredible benefits of vermicomposting, vermicompost tea and get you creating your own vermicompost bin to take home with you!
This class will begin with a demonstration of the vermicomposting system we use on our farmstead, sharing knowledge about vermicomposting and finish with you building your very own vermicompost bin.
Your registration includes:
Admission
Hands on and detailed instruction time
Behind-the scenes tour of our farmstead vermicomposting system
Your very own worm bin materials to build and take home (2 bins, worm bin bedding material, and a handful of worms to kickstart the composting)
Location: At farmstead. We are located 15 minutes outside the downtown of Almonte. More information will be sent upon registration.
Date: Saturday, April 26th from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
